In the historical center of Pontassieve from May 30 to June 3 2018, there is the “49th Toscanellod’Oro”, the famous festival of Pontassievese, where you can taste the wines of the farms in the area of Chianti Rufina.
Marchesi Gondi – TenutaBossi will present their wines, in particular you can taste the Chianti Rufina “San Giuliano 2016” and the Rosso Colli Toscana Centrale “SerAmerigo 2010”.
In particular you can taste the SerAmerigo, which is a feminine wine, seductive, round, made from a blend of grape varieties, non-native and native; 40% Merlot, 40% Sangiovese and 20% Colorino.
The wine is bright ruby red with purple reflections.
On the nose is complex, intense, immediately just nice! Are perceived various scents of little red fruits jam such as the wild strawberry, spicy hints of cinnamon and licorice. Opening in the glass with nuances of leather and sweet tobacco.
The taste is full with fine tannins and a lively flavor, softened by a generous fruity undergrowth hug from the whole elegance and balance. In the end it denotes balsamic aromas and liquorice.
This wine is therefore composed of two SOULS in fact at the nose has fruity and sweet notes typical of the merlot, but in the mouth comes out the persistence and strength of the Sangiovese, typical of the Territory of Chianti Rufina.
